Dylan’s Bar Mitzvah – Italian Center – Stamford, CT

A big congrats to Dylan and his family as he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah this September in Stamford. Dylan is a vibrant and happy young man and his personality really came alive on the dance floor, where he showed off some awesome moves and wowed his guests with his DJ skills. Dylan’s whole family was warm and inviting – this event was a pleasure to photograph!

Introducing #juicy2014

I’m fairly certain that if you asked most people that know me, they would say that I am definitely NOT the type of Mom to fantasize about a celebrity couple name for their child. Or a hashtag. Or a hashtag of said potential future celebrity couple name. But, Jude and Lucy just kind of push me to a little bit of a nutty place with their kiddo quirkiness. So, just indulge this blip in my sanity, will you? I think it’s worth it.

Corie & Jackie Part 3 – Attic Studios Wedding – Long Island City, NY

Can’t help but post one more time just because I loved this wedding so much! I would be bereft to not post some of the great portraits that Corie, Jackie and I did before their ceremony. This Long Island City neighborhood offered such great backdrops to contrast their wedding finery. Once again, congrats to Corie, Jackie and all of their family!

Corie & Jackie Part 2 – Attic Studios Wedding – Long Island City, NY

Getting to shoot at a variety of venues is one of the great things about being a photographer. Attic Studios in Long Island City offered an awesome backdrop for Corie and Jackie’s beautiful day – stunning views of Manhattan from the roof top and a fabulous loft event space made their wedding day picture perfect.

I’ve been lucky to work with Corie’s family several times and was so happy to get to capture her big day. Corie and I share a love for musical theatre and I was delighted to hear her musical trio playing Broadway love songs as guests arrived at their ceremony. All in all it was a lovely day filled with love, laughter and lots of ole fashioned New Orleans (and Irish!) revelry!
