Corie & Jackie Part 3 – Attic Studios Wedding – Long Island City, NY

Can’t help but post one more time just because I loved this wedding so much! I would be bereft to not post some of the great portraits that Corie, Jackie and I did before their ceremony. This Long Island City neighborhood offered such great backdrops to contrast their wedding finery. Once again, congrats to Corie, Jackie and all of their family!

Corie & Jackie Part 2 – Attic Studios Wedding – Long Island City, NY

Getting to shoot at a variety of venues is one of the great things about being a photographer. Attic Studios in Long Island City offered an awesome backdrop for Corie and Jackie’s beautiful day – stunning views of Manhattan from the roof top and a fabulous loft event space made their wedding day picture perfect.

I’ve been lucky to work with Corie’s family several times and was so happy to get to capture her big day. Corie and I share a love for musical theatre and I was delighted to hear her musical trio playing Broadway love songs as guests arrived at their ceremony. All in all it was a lovely day filled with love, laughter and lots of ole fashioned New Orleans (and Irish!) revelry!

Meet Quinn – Newborn Photo Session – Trumbull, CT

I’ve  said it before and I’ll say it again – I love to get the opportunity to photograph the same family for a second (or third! or fourth!) time – not only am I flattered that they liked the photos enough to have me back, but I love to see how everyone grows between sessions. Even better is getting the privilege of capturing photos of a new family member in there first few days on earth.

I was so delighted to get the message that this wonderful family had a new addition – and even more delighted to meet little Quinn. A perfect lady during our session, Quinn slept peacefully and only fussed a little like anyone would when we poked and prodded her too much. I already knew that Quinn’s older sisters were kind little ladies, but seeing them be so good with their new little sister was quite touching to see. Congrats to everyone!
