Nathan’s Bar Mitzvah – B’nai Torah, Bridgeport, CT

Bar and Bat Mitzvahs are such special events in the lives of young men and women and I loved getting to be a part of Nathan’s special day. Nathan brought a lot of personality to his role as Bar Mitzvah boy – showing off his confidence on stage from his experience doing musicals and flashing his charming smile. It’s always wonderful getting to work with a kind and supportive family!

Sarah & Hunter – Waveny House Wedding – New Canaan, CT

Sarah and Hunter chose a beautiful January evening in Connecticut to make their long time relationship “official”. They said their vows surrounded by family and friends at the beautiful Saugatuck Congregational Church in Westport, Sarah’s childhood church. A lively party followed at the stately Waveny House in New Canaan. Fires roared in the hearths in each room, large plates of paella were enjoyed family style at each table and the evening was filled with emotional toasts and moving musical performances. Sarah and Hunter’s love for one another shown through it all – congrats to this lovely couple!

Family Portrait Session – Stratford, CT

I’ve been fortunate to get to spend a little time with this family each year for the past 3 years. I love the genuine joy that this mom and dad get from their kids. They genuinely engage with their children and, as a result, the photo sessions always are filled with laughter and play. If something doesn’t go exactly according to plan, they roll with it and make the best of it. When mom and dad are happy, kids are happy! Looking forward to seeing hose little faces continue to grow!

Welcome Baby Nathan – Family Portrait Session – Westport, CT

I’ve said it before and I will say it again – getting to photograph the same family again and again is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I love getting to see how kids change and mature and it’s great for the young ones to see a familiar face (mine!) when faced with something potentially stressful like a family photo session.

This beautiful family was one of my first family portrait clients and have stuck around for years now – and, boy, am I glad! This year marked a big year of change for them – not only a move to a beautiful home in Westport but the addition of a new baby – their first boy! I got to visit their lovely home, hang out and take some photos of the new arrival. Welcome, Baby Nathan! I can’t wait to make more photos of you (and your sisters)!
