Kerry & Jason – Danbury, CT Wedding – The Amber Room Colonnade

Here’s a sneak peak at some scenes from Kerry and Jay’s Danbury, CT wedding at the Amber Room. The weather held out for us and we were lucky enough to get some beautiful pops of color on the gray afternoon! Kerry, Jay and their families were wonderful to work with and the event was filled with plenty of warmth, laughter and love – as any good wedding should be!

Shaving heads to save lives – St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser – Baker Pediatrics, Trumbull CT

I was honored to get to shoot some photos at a fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s at Baker Pediatrics in Trumbull this weekend. What an event! People coming together to have fun, play games and music, cook food, volunteer, paint faces and – the main event – shave heads to raise money for children’s cancer research. Thousands of dollars were raised by people pledging those who decided to take the plunge and shave their locks.

People shared personal stories of loss and of survival. Tears were shed and laughs were had. An all in all amazing event, which I hope to be back at next year! Thank you to my friend, Melissa, who asked me to come!

Hair: who needs it anyway??

Spring Family Portrait Session – Trumbull, CT

Got to meet up with this great family last weekend at Trumbull’s Twin Brooks Park. I met this family last fall and they are back for more photos, this time with their extended family.

It was a gorgeous day and all the spring flowers were in full form! I look forward to many more family sessions this season in this beautiful weather! For now, check out these cuties – gotta love those amazing smiles!

Cortney and Atul – Take 2!

More from the beautiful wedding of Cortney and Atul – who were lucky enough to have not one wedding day, but two! How lucky are they?

This beautiful winter wedding was hosted at the Fairfield County Hunt Club – a perfect place for the cozy and intimate wedding that Cortney and Atul envisioned. Candles were lit on the hearth and on the table and fires roared in the giant fireplaces at either end of the hall as the couple’s guests partied on down to their favorite music. Atul and his family shared some fabulous Indian music and dance moves and cultures were blended as everyone danced together. A wonderful evening filled with love and warmth on a cold, cold night!

(And check out Cortney’s beautiful stole – a Christmas gift from Atul – how gorgeous does she look??)

ONE NIGHT STAND – One Night Only!

Four years ago, shortly after I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter, I got the opportunity to photograph a remarkably exciting (and tiring!) event – The 24 Hour Musicals. In the course of 24 hours, some of Broadway, TV and film’s finest gathered to write, rehearse and produce 4 original short musicals. It was crazy fun to be a fly on the wall during this process – so many intelligent, talented people giving it their all and totally freaking out in the process! I have a somewhat hazy remembrance of the event, as I was newly preggers and ridiculously tired – BUT, luckily I wasn’t the only people there to document it.

A fabulous film crew was also there – and the result of their hard work is a fabulous documentary – ONE NIGHT STAND. After touring festivals around the country, for the past couple of years, the film finally opens nationwide in theatres. Tonight. For ONE NIGHT ONLY!

The film uses my photographs in their promotional materials and website and I am so thrilled for their success. Get your tickets now and check it out tonight!
