…that I have been chosen for a Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Award this year, based on reviews of my photography services on www.weddingwire.com. A big thanks to Wedding Wire and, most importantly, all of my clients who wrote such nice reviews. I am eternally grateful and humbled!
Take a look at all of the wonderful people that I got to work with this year. It was a year filled with venues that have become old favorites, like the gorgeous Inn at Longshore in Westport, and venues that could easily become new favorites, like The Beech Tree Cottages in Madison and The Keeler Tavern House in Ridgefield. But, the best part was getting to work with such fabulous brides and grooms and seeing the joy on their faces as they celebrated such an important day with their family and friends. I feel so blessed to get a chance to capture these special moments and help them create life long memories!
In looking back on my photos from 2013, I was amazed at how lucky I was to get to work with so many wonderful families. Photographing kids (and their parents!) is a great joy for me and it was so fun to go back through the year in photos and see all of these little faces. My favorite thing? Getting to photograph the same families year after year – kids change so quickly and it’s so special to get to see what fabulous little people they turn in to. Enjoy some of my favorites from 2013!
Some couples get lucky and get a picture perfect day for their wedding. Amy and Allison got lucky with their day (and the beautiful setting and service thanks to The Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT) AND lucky with their love, too. OK, I know that sounds all cheesy wedding blogger-ish – something that I don’t usually go in for. But, these two were so obviously in love and there was not a guest that did not feel it. Their day was filled with laughs, personal touches, music and of course the requisite happy tears. I have known Amy and her family for a long time and was so happy to see everyone filled with such joy. Congrats to Amy and Allison!

Now here’s a reaction to the ring!
Photographing this beautiful family was a perfect way to kick off my series of Mini Photo Sessions. Check out these gorgeous faces from Trumbull – they were just as sweet on the inside as they were on the out! I love how affectionate and loving these young men were – what a lovely bunch!
